why dont my inside work properly

I have suffered with ibs for the last 20 years, at this moment in time i am getting painful spasms in my lower gut and buscopan is of little help. I have not emptied my bowels for two days and am going out for the day tomorrow. How do you cope with that.

 i too have constipation

Hi my name is Sarah I have had ibs for 5 years and the pain is really bad for me I try to guess when I am going out I do it like this one day out two days in that way I have two days to take my laxative and hopefully I go if I have to go out quickly I have to leave the laxative off its not nice but I try again the days I am in I only go out for a few hours and I don't work now due to this illness
