Pain

by Dorthey Jellison
(Desert Hot Springs, CA USA)

They say I have irritable bowl syndrom and diverticulitis. The foods I was eating such as cabbage, salads, cucumbers, et. is apparantley a no-no now. I was eating things to lower my colesterol. Sometimes I wake up in the night or early morning with extreme pain in my breast bone, between my breasts. Sometimes it is about a six inch band around my abdomon and twice, my whole upper body from my waist to my neck, back and front was in such severe pain that all I could do was walk the floor for about two hours.

I get side effects to every prescription pain medication I have been put on, so that is out. I just have to tough it out but once went to the hospital thinking I was having a heart attack and they gave me a heart sonogram, stress test and nucular tests. Everything was good. I've had the camera down my throat, a CT scan where I had to drink some stuff then they put dye in my veins. Everthing was negative, but this problem only started about six months ago when my Doctor lowered my fluid intake to four, eight ounce glasses a day because my blood test showed that my sodium level was low and I had been on a low sodium diet for about two years. I started drinking the O water with electrolites or some such thing because that was allowed. If someone out there, knows of something else I might have instead of the irritable bowel,

Thank you in advance, Dorthey Jellison

Same as Dorthy
by: Barb

I have the same symptoms as Dorthy. I have tried every diet including no t eating for 3 days a couple of times to see if the pain would go away and it didn't.
