IBS at School

I'm 15 years old and have had IBS for as long as I can remember. Although it was only once every few months, after having my appendix explode and later removed when I was 10 the symptoms seemed to get worst. Since then I've had to use the washrooms at school when I've had an "episode", which can be very embarrassing and stressful.
As soon as I feel it coming in school I immediately become stressed and worried. However, I have made up 3 back-up plans over the years to help me.
1. I un-button my jeans, for some reason it takes off some pressure from my stomach, then breath in and out slowly and silently for a moment to relax myself and try not to think about it.
2. I leave the classroom, I don't care what anyone says I just leave and because most of my classes are downstairs where most of the people in my grade go to use the washroom so I go upstairs where it is also less crowded with people constantly coming in.
(I later explain why I left to a teacher after class)
3.I go to the office and call home sick. This is when I think I may be able to hold it long enough or I've had it more than once that day and need to leave in case it comes back. My parents and guardians are ok with this and understanding.
(I try not to use this too much though.)
