I also travel with a potty in van

by Melinda
(Michigan)

After reading your post I thought how similar our lives sound. I also routed out stops and knew how many minutes there were in between each one. I have visited every bathroom in a 20 mile radius of my home. Once my husband set me up with a travel potty in my van, yes, my anxiety also was relieved and seemed to help my IBS. In the last month I have been pretty much confined to home because it has gotten so bad that I really couldn't make it to the potty in the back of my van, but I have some appts scheduled and hopefully will find some relief. As you come accross anything that might help with some relief, please post as I am really sick of the quality of my life and feel that I miss out on so much. Thank you.

The perfect travel potty is The Biffy Bag
by: Andrea

I have found the perfect traveling companion. It is called The Biffy Bag. It is a pocket sized disposable toilet. It is small enough that you can put it in your pocket, purse, glove box or fanny pack. It is absolutly amazeing. It is a complete toielt in your pocket. Comes with everthing you need for a comfortable relief experiance, ample toilet paper, large wet wipe and a special powder that soildifies the liquds. It has 3 layers of leak protection, is odor proof and you can toss it in any trash can when done because it is landfil approved. But best of all you do not need a bucket or commode to use it. It is a specially designed bag within a bag system and what you do is tie it around your waist, pull it up between your legs and let gravity do the rest. Very sanitary and discreet. I have only been able to buy them on line but I keep them in my car at all times. We need to spread the word about this product. It is a necessity for us to have. Google up The Biffy Bag and check out the web site www.biffybag.com . The car toilet is good but the Biffy Bag gives you the freedom to bike, hike, camp what every you would like to do without haveing to worry about where do you go when there is no where to go. You owe it to yourself to check this out. Good Luck.
