Ginger

by Vivian
(Canada)

Ginger is helpful for a wide variety of gastrointestinal ailments ranging from simple indigestion to severe nausea and cramps.

I drink ginger tea when I feel that I may be getting an episode or after having an episode. I find it really effective and helps calm my stomach down. You can make your own ginger tea by brewing ginger root or you can buy organic tea bags that they sell at the supermarket.

I have also recently started eating ginger in my meals and also find it effective. I have made ginger chicken fried rice. Stir-fry slivers of ginger root with chicken breast, and white rice with a dash of black pepper - it's healthy & delicious!

Thankyou

Thank-you Vivian, for that information. I agree that ginger is very helpful for nausea; I think it has probably been as effective for me as prescribed tablets and ginger tea in wonderfully warming. I hope other people will try ginger if they have not, as it is natural and easy to use.
