food to eat in IBS
by: mahesh agrawal

Here are foods which you can eat and not eat with IBS :

- You can eat fruites like banana, peeled apple, pears,
- vegetables like carrots, cucumber, salad leaves etc
- rice, potato, sweet potato, items made from rice, potato and other carbohydrates are okay

to avoid foods in IBS :

- cut out refined white sugar, use brown colour sugar or jaggery as they call it in India
- cut out aerated drinks like coca cola, fanta, sprite, etc
- cut out tea (caffeine)
- cut out diary products like milk, cheese etc, however yogurt is welcome and can be taken as much as you like. If you like milk, can try lactose free milk

- cut on bakery products like bread, biscuites, cakes etc as much as possible. Can use home made bread and foods made out of carbohydrates like rice, potato, sweet potato, etc.

Try drink

- fresh carrot juice
- fresh ginger juice with honey and lemon juice

Wish you all the best for your IBS.

Hello,
from my own experience, the only sure way to do that is to create your own food diary.
Takes a 2 or 3 weeks but is time well spend.

All the best,
Anony.
