Cut out wheat

I have had IBS since i was 18, i'm now 39. my symptoms are usually bloating and wind followed by a VERY quick dash to the nearest loo. I work in the community and this can prove very distressing at times.
my tip is to try and cut out wheat, i use wheat free bread and pasta, avoid things like meusli and weetabix and try and eat rice and barley based cereals. also fruit and veg which contain seeds can also upset your bowel so try and avoid these. its not a cure but it does help
